My story is one of love and loss, success and failure, and a deep exploration of my life's true purpose. It’s a story I will vulnerably share and also a story I am still boldly and passionately writing. A story I've been told inspires.
Inspiration seems to be a common theme. For as much as I've been inspired by others along my journey, my clients hire me because of how I inspire them. How I inspire them by providing a different perspective. How I inspire them to go deeper inside themselves. How I inspire them to step into their personal and professional greatness. And, more often than not, how I show up and live my life inspires them.
I’m honored to hold space for my clients to uncover what’s been inside them all along. See, we don’t always recognize our own gifts. We don’t always see our true potential. Especially in the midst of personal and professional transitions. We also don't always see our true potential when we're finding ourselves stuck in a state of 'ordinariness' with our lives - dreaming of more. For it takes self-compassion, vulnerability, and finding the right partner to help us see ourselves fully in order to write our next best chapter.
It takes learning how to embrace our story. For some, it takes learning how to embrace grief. For others, how to truly embrace life and all its beauty (and all its messiness). It's about how to keep our focus on moving toward what’s next for us, rather than holding on to what no longer serves us. It’s about keeping up with who life has caused us to become. This. This is why I founded What’s Your Story? I'm keeping up with who life has caused me to become, my clients are keeping up with who life has caused them to become, and I want the same for you.
While I'll be forever grateful for my nearly 30-year accomplished and exhilarating corporate career, I know deep in my heart that my true work as a leader was always about inspiring others to do their very best; for us, as a team, to collectively make a real and sustainable impact not only in the revenue column, but in the world; and, for us to lift one another up as we lived out our own very best stories. The same rings true today.
My purpose is to help grow and develop individuals who find themselves in a state of transition and are seeking transformation either personally or professionally (and, sometimes both); to write, collaborate, and share authentic stories with the world, and to partner with organizations that strive to make a real and sustainable difference through their mission. My purpose is to change the narrative.
I look forward to helping you more fully recognize your purpose, discover who life has caused you to become and, together, co-create your next brilliant chapter.
Let's inspire each other ~
Kathy
